La Fornace is a small family-run company, its origins are lost in the history of peasant civilisation. It was our parents who purchased the farm where they had worked all their lives as sharecroppers. We, that is, the son and wife, continued to cultivate the land, with the help of our children.
Today we produce, in modest quantities, Brunello di Montalcino D.O.C.G. wine, Rosso di Montalcino D.O.C. wine. and, in the best vintages, the Riserva di Brunello D.O.C.G. Brunello Grappa is distilled from the pomace. In addition to wine we have an excellent I.G.P. extra virgin olive oil. Tuscan.
Each of these products is curated with a wisdom that comes from direct knowledge of the land, and with a passion that is renewed from generation to generation.
