Our saffron produced in small quantities in our company is grown sustainably and without additives, preservatives or chemical fertilizers. Pure, fragrant, valuable, in stigmas, worked exclusively by hand and dried according to our ancient tradition, it is a natural product rich in many benefits for our well-being. The active ingredients give the spice its incomparable colour, these substances belong to the carotenoid family, they are widespread in other plant foods but in none with such a high concentration as in saffron.​
Ideal for embellishing recipes with a touch of flavor and elegance and for completing every dish with an inviting harmony.
Recommended for the classic Milanese risotto, to flavor bread, pizza, biscuits, baked and spoon desserts, ice cream and granitas. There are countless benefits for the body and mind if used as a herbal tea.
Saffron is a plant widely used in cooking, interesting properties are attributed to saffron, among which digestive ones stand out. Taken in small doses it is able to stimulate the secretion of gastric juices, thus promoting digestion.

Usage Details

Both in first courses such as pasta, risotto, soups and in more or less elaborate vegetable side dishes, it is also used in the kitchen in the preparation of leavened products and desserts: bread, piazza and yellow brioche with saffron flavour.
